Gothic Arts & Crafts, Ash Inlaid Chest of Drawers
A Gothic Arts & Crafts style chest of drawers, Circa 1900, by repute of Marsh, Jones & Cribb of Leeds (No Label). A wonderful solid ash chest with elegant inlay details throughout.
The oblong shaped top of well figured English ash features gothic type larks-tongue canting and inlaid dots along the edges, finished with canted corners. The drawers configured 2 small side by side drawers over 3 full width drawers, all graduated in height. Recessed into the carcuss of the chest, with all the drawer apertures featuring the same gothic type larks-tongue canting, and inlay details. The drawers front are completed with inlay and dressed with white metal gothic type pull handles. The chest sits on shaped bracket feet.
A delightful piece of antique furniture, in very good condition and ready for use.
