Magnificent antique mahogany eight day painted face grandfather antique clock with makers name in scrolls at the centre, J Adamson, Friockheim. The glazed hood has a swan neck pediment and turned columns. clock face is beautifully decorative and colourful arched painted dial depicting Scottish scenes It has an eight day duration mechanism striking on the hour on a bell, fantastic mahogany case, exquisitely flamed Mahogany bow fronted door with turned columns to the sides raised on bracket feet with shaped apron to front and sides.
A wonderful example having a splendid colour and design and in good working order.
