GER Sandringham Hotel at Hunstanton-on-Sea paper advert on the front and inside "Ask for East Anglian Whisky on Sale at all Great Eastern Railway Co.'s Refreshment Rooms"
Stamped Bryant and May's Matches on the back of the case.
This vesta would have been silver plated when new, the remains of which can just be seen by the hinge on the outside and more inside the lid. The seam in the corner at the end of the hinge has come apart. Please see photo.
Without the plating the vesta is a dull colour.
The hotel was built in the 1870s and run by GER.
An unusual advertising item from the late 19th /Early 20th Century showing interesting GER advertisements.
