Group of 6 Architects Drawings by J.A.Chatwin

Group of 6 19th century signed architects drawings, 5 of churches and one of a Lloyds bank. These have all been freshly framed in a plain elegant black rounded frame. The drawings themselves are paper on canvas and are all signed by the architects, the three of Aston Church are by J.A.Chatwin dated February 9 1879.
The Joint Stock Bank (now a pub), Temple Row West was intended to be a library[1]
St Augustine's Church, Edgbaston, 1868.
St Mary & St Ambrose, Edgbaston, 1897–98.
Julius Alfred Chatwin FRIBA, ARBS, FSAScot (24 April 1830 – 6 June 1907) was the architect, also commissioned to undertake the extensive restoration of Aston Church in Birmingham. During the mid to late 19thC he worked with Augustus Pugin on the Palace of Westminster.
Another of the drawings is of St. Augustines Church, Edgebaston, this too is by J.A. Chatwin. This drawing shows exceptional detail with gargoyles, flags and stonework.
Another of the drawings is of St. Catherines Church in Summerfield, this too is by J.A. Chatwin. In this one there is a cross section drawing as well.
The final drawing is a departure from the religious gothic revival architectural drawings of the other 5, this one is of the Lloyds bank building, Ann Place. This one shows an afterthought drawing of a flag to the top. Signed and dated 26th April 1869 J. A. Chatwin.
The 6 of them are very similar in measurements and are as follows:

Saint Augustine's Church - 58.5cm wide by 78cm high
