Guild of Handicraft Attributed Oval Copper Box

We have for sale a rather lovely copper and brass arts and crafts oval lidded box or pot attributed to the London Guild of Handicraft c1900.
This very decorative copper and brass box or pot is of an oval form consisting of a body formed from a single sheet of copper that overlaps at a riveted lobbed joint. The body of the box extends to a hinged and slightly domed oval lid finished with a very attractive brass handle held in place by copper rivets consisting of two hearts with a central ring handle. The overall effect of this design is really quite stunning. The pot is unsurprising unmarked (Ashbee insisted that craftsmen at the Guild of Handicraft didn't mark their work and fell out with Pearson because he insisted on marking his work) but of a design typical of the London Guild of Handicraft.
This oval lidded pot is 6 inches (15.2cm) long, 4.75 inches (12) wide, approximately 5 inches high including the handle and is in a very good antique condition.
