Hanging Shelves. Plate Display Rack. Oak Georgian
This is an extremely handsome 18th Century oak display rack. It has 3 graduated shelves for plates and 2 small cupboards with spice drawers below, a nicely shaped fretwork frieze, and a dog-tooth cornice above. The cupboard doors each have deeply carved raised fielded panels.
Racks of this nature were usually associated with dressers, this one has a notably slim profile and is an excellent design as a standalone hanging rack.

Very good condition throughout with deep colour and patination. Waxed finish.
Please note - this is a heavy rack, it will require strong wall screw fixings. It has 5 large mirror plate fittings to the back of the rack
