This is a heavy vintage privacy screen. A Chinese, carved mahogany 4-fold room divider or wall panel dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1950.
Substantial and eye-catching with wonderful carved detail
Displays a desirable aged patina. and in good order
Select stocks presents warm caramel and russet hues throughout
Fascinating deep carving a testament to the craftsmanship on display
Each fold hosts a trio of Oriental water scenes, with junks and temples
Accentuated to each fascia with carved border detail
Extends to a width of 5' 9'' for use as an imposing wall panel
Folds away to a depth of 11.5cm (4.5'') for ease if storage
