A finely detailed and beautifully observed french Art Deco patinated terracotta sculpture of a young girl and her dog by Henri Bargas
Henri Bargas, born in Paris at the end of the 19th century, was active in the 1920s and 1930s. He studied with André Vermare and worked with Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, and with Edouard-Marcel Sandoz at the "Jardin des Plantes" for the study of animals. In the 1930s, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.

Weight before packing 4.2kg
Condition is excellent, with no chips cracks or restoration. A minor ware to the patinated surface as you would expect

Henri Bargas, born in Paris at the end of the 19th century, was active in the 1920s and 1930s.
