A rare 1960s Heuer model 2915 stopwatch. A steel case with the original retailers label to the case back marked with reference number. Case back inner signed 'Ed Heuer & Co SA Swiss'. An enamel dial with 60 minute register and 12 hour register to the dial. Signed by retailers Camerer Cuss & co to the dial. A good quality 7 jewel mechanism signed Heuer. The Heuer 2915 stopwatch was the first Swiss watch to make it to space, worn by John Glenn in 1962 who was the first American to orbit the earth.
