Huge BURMANTOFTS Faience Art Pottery Vase c. 1890

One of the largest BURMANTOFTS vases we have offered for sale!
A stunning BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE ART POTTERY vase produced in the Burmantofts Leeds factory between 1882 and 1904, in Burmantofts iconic turquoise glaze. Standing a massive 405mm high with max dia. ~150mm, this is a striking piece which displays beautifully.
Condition is generally excellent with only one small firing crack in the glaze of the foot rim (pic.5), quite insignificant but mentioned for completeness. At some time in the past 110 years the vase has been used as a lamp base. There is a neat drilled hole to the base (pic. 4). Clearly this is not apparent when on display, however in light of this we are offering this £300.00+ vase at £195.00.
Fully marked to base BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE, design no 1398 and initials WA. Weight ~ 2.7kg.
Collection free of charge, local delivery possible for fuel cost.
Shipping quote on request. Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns Policy.
Returns are accepted within 7 days. A full refund will be given provided the item is received in the same condition as when sold. Buyer is responsible for return postage/shipping costs, appropriate packaging and insurance.
