This is a very attractive oil on canvas of a sporting scene by J Burras (19th century). It bears the title label "A days sport" verso and is signed and dated 1876. It shows two handsome spaniels doing what they enjoy best, fetching for their masters, in a beautiful woodland glade. The panting is well executed and is in excellent condition. It is set within its original attractive gilt frame and measures 37cm by 27cm .
