A truely outstanding oil painting by reknowned artist H.W.G.Winter,who has signed the picture in the bottom R.H.Side.

He was born 28/7/1937 and studied in Paris and the Hague,where he became a sought after painter.The style is quite fine and very realistic.

This fine quality example of a Dutch winter landscape scene depicts a frozen lake with children skating in the background and people going about their daily chores.

The careful painting of the figures are amazing and accurate in scale within the icy landscape.

The frame is belived to be original and is in good condition.
The Painting has been wax relined and is in good condition.
