An iconic Art Deco powder compact.

This lovely Karess Woodworth powder compact is presented with the original puff, powder plate and its fitting plate.

The lid is decorated with stunning guilloche engraving which is framed by a stylish Greek key (meander / meandros) design.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The mirror frame is signed KARESS WOODWORTH.

The original stamp can be seen on the base.

There is a small amount of wear at the top of the mirror.

However, this does not spoil the enjoyment of this splendid vanity.

The mirror glass is soundly case glued and does not move at all.

This compact is suitable for use with pressed powder pans measuring 43 mm diameter or as a cherished display collectible.

This wonderful antique measures 5.5 x 5.5 cm and weighs 36.6 grams.

An immaculate velvet pouch is included with this compact.
