Impressive French kingwood display cabinet
A super quality French kingwood display cabinet with impressive brass inlay and brass ormolu mounts to the feet, circa 1900
Fantastic colour tone with the kingwood, rich and a real quality finish, do see the close up images for the colour tone, though I still have some polishing to be done!
Original glass to all three sides and a panelled back, the interior has a vintage velvet which you can certainly keep as is, or you may like to replace it
The original lock and key work and the hinges swing well
There are three glass shelves and the base surface, not adjustable though - there is between 10 1/2'' to 11'' ( 27/28cm ) height between the shelves
Great decor piece to showcase your collectibles, silver etc
The top is a polished mahogany, certainly suitable for further display and is well finished
Measuring:
62'' / 157cm high
26 1/2'' / 67cm wide
14 1/4'' / 36cm deep
I can easily arrange delivery for you to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses for £85, but please send me your postcode if you are coastal!
