Industrial Brass Daisy Cog Dugdills Floor Lamp
Rare Industrial Brass Daisy Cog Dugdills Floor Lamp.
An extremely rare and iconic John Dugdill and Company brass and cast iron floor lamp stamped Dugdill to its brass base.
In completely untouched and uncleaned condition retaining its original patina, the lamp fully articulates with ease and has all of its original large size Daisy Cog wheels, conical washers and associated parts.
Clearly the lamp has been been much covetted over the past 100 years and is the best example of Dugdills lighting we have seen. It was recently purchased by us from the Hazel Grove area of Stockport in Manchester and is believed to have originated from an ex-employee or descendant of John Dugdill.
Condition: The entire lamp is in exemplary condition throughout. The lamp retains its original switched lamp holder and has been rewired with vintage style black silk twisted flex and is in full working order, ready to install.
Size:- Maximum fully extended height is 2 metres.
