Interesting 19thC Mahogany Table

Our title description lists this table as interesting and hopefully this write up will give an indication as to why.
The basics.....solid mahogany construction, fluted column legs with carved tops.
The interesting parts..... we think this table may have been made to display various designs and skills of manufacture. The 4 rails just below the top are all decorated differently as is the moulding around the top, 3 are carved with one edge being plain. To the base again one width and length is of a plain moulding with the other two having a design to them. This base is in fact a separate piece, the table having four turned feet that fit snuggly into the base. There is no need to use this plinth if desired, however, the table does look better combined with the base section.
As we said, an interesting table that would work perfectly as a hall table, side table or even a centre table.
