The most enchanting mid-century hallmarked Italian silver loose powder compact with an unused down puff and sifter. The etched lid is decorated with bright-cut floral motifs which gleam as they catch the light. This piece is fully hallmarked 800 silver and it is in excellent unused condition. The maker's mark is '242 FI' All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. Measures 7 cm and weighs 69.8 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
