Italian Walnut Carved Stand
Imposing pedestal, profusely carved with vegetal and various decorative motives.
In the centre of the front side, stands out an exquisitely carved relief of a putto.
Attractive feet which evoke the shape of a dolphin.
Shaped top and a lower shelf between the two sides/legs.
The original purpose, of pieces like this, is to display a marble bust or a small statue.
Origin: probably Italian
