Signed 1920 and unusual to get a little family history which is quite interesting, unfortunately the artist's name has faded. A well executed watercolour in good condition with a good quality but later frame. The novice nun is receiving a good grilling from Mother Superior with regard to a brooch containing a picture of an army officer. But alas not a male boyfriend but her brother, sadly killed in WW1. A large painting with good history.
