J.C. Jennens & Son, London 10 Bell Triple Fusee Bracket Clock. A magnificent clock in every way. The fine solid Mahogany ebonised case Bell top with five finials and swag mounts over elaborate side handles, cast sound frets centred by cherubs heads is decorated with full gilt Figures on each corner, all cast gilt bronze including feet, flame finials, hinged side handles, side tone openings and is surmounted by cast gilt bronze angel trumpeter. The original surface dial has gilt bronze spandrels and sub dials for Chime/Silent and chime selection of Westminster, Eight Bells or Ten Bells. The Jennens movement is of the finest quality playing chimes on 10 bells and 5 large flat coiled gongs and striking the hour on a single deep toned coiled gong. The movement is signed J.C. Jennens London. The clock is in superb condition in every way.
