A rare English skeleton antique clock by sought after maker John Pace of bury St Edmunds. A small example with distinctive skeletonized chapter ring with Arabic numerals. A scrolled support to the 8-day fusee mechanism of unique design. A stepped brass base panel signed by maker. An ebonized base with brass bun feet. A superb quality piece of engineering! Circa 1835.
John Pace of Bury St Edmunds is recorded in Loomes 'Clockmakers and Watchmakers of The World' book as working 1823-1855.
