A large Art Deco celadon and cream footed fruit bowl by Keith Murray for Wedgwood in excellent condition, circa 1940. Fully stamped on the base with Murray's monogram and the words ‘WEDGWOOD OF ETRURIA AND BARLASTON’.

This is a wonderful example of Murray's two-tone ware introduced in January 1937 which was created using a celadon green slip on a cream-coloured body. Murray made a feature of contrasting slips by turning the piece on the lathe to expose the lighter colour beneath the slip in two simple repetitive bands.
