Keswick School of Industrial Art Copper Teapot


We have for sale a hard to find fully marked Victorian Keswick School of Industrial Arts copper bachelor's teapot.
The teapot is lightly planished and is of an ovoid form with a hinged lid extending to a turned wooden finial and a body that extends to a spout and a typical Keswick School of Industrial Arts high looped copper handle. The teapot probably dates to somewhere around 1880-1900.
The base of the teapot caries the impressed KSIA mark along with the impressed Keswick mark and the serial number Z357.
The is 9 inches (22.8cm) from spout to handle, 5 inches (12.7cm) in diameter and 6 inches (15 cm)high and is in a very good antique condition, although the lid does not quite close completely.
