A superb example of fine Victorian antique furniture in original condition, with no losses or additions. They tooled inset leather writing surface within a finely detailed marquetry surround, depicting cornucopia and a basket issuing fruit and flowers, over a shaped frieze fitted with a drawer. The table stands on elegant cabriole legs supports with the original mounts, giving the whole piece a very light and delicate look.
