Ladderback chair in Ash made by Edward Gardiner (1880-1958) from a design by Ernest Gimson. Original rush seat in good condition . Stamped Ed Gardiner on leg. Gardiner worked for Gimson as a chairmaker before setting up his own workshop near Rugby . Measures 38 in x 22.75 in wide x 16 in deep
