Lalique vase in the Dampierre design.
The Dampierre design features a clear glass urn shaped vase on a pedestal base, with a continuous freeze of satin finish moulding of alternating sparrows and vines round the middle.

"Lalique ® France" is engraved in the base.

The design by Marc Lalique, Rene's son, which dates to 1948, is still in production.

The vase measures 11.5 cm (4.5") in diameter across the top, 6.5 cm (2.5") in diameter across the foot and stands 12 cm (4.75") tall.
The vase weighs a substantial 1120g / 2.6lb.
All measurements are approximate.

The vase is in very good condition. No chips, cracks or discolouration have been noted. There is some shelf wear scratching to the base as to be expected.
