Large 18 Drawer Mahogany Partners Desk
A superb 19th. Century French 18 drawer mahogany and brass bound partners pedestal desk. The top retaining the gold tooled green writing surface within mahogany cross banding and brass edging with pull out slides to each side and 3 frieze drawers to back and front. The pedestals each having 3 graduated brass bound drawers between fluted columns with brass ring capitals. The panelled sides with further brass decoration and the whole raised on conforming plinth bases with turned feet below. This large desk has oak linings, all original brass mouldings and escutcheons with working locks and keys. Condition- Very good and ready for use in the home or office.
