Large portrait of an aristocratic gentleman in early 18th.c. style dress, probably dating from the mid 19th.c. Painted in oil on canvas, the sitter is shown half length, dressed in a fabulous long powdered wig and grey frock coat with gold brocade, red lining and gold sash. Excellent condition previously restored and relined and presented in a very well chosen old black and gilt moulded wooden frame.
