Antique large 19C Georgian / Regency or possibly early Victorian gilt wood wall mirror overmantle.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character, with great proportions.

The mirrored glass (old, unsure whether original) has some light to mid oxidation and foxing...as most customers would like to see. There is still a clear reflection, but looks fantastically old.

A rare and impressive find, that would look amazing in the right location.

Overall maximum dimensions 146cmW x 66cmH x 8cmD.

Historic knocks, marks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. As one would expect, there is a fair bit of cracking and some decorative losses to the frame, with repainting / touching up over the years, but it still retains a lovely character grace and charm. The back of the mirror is covered in old brown paper.
