This is a beautiful porcelain punch bowl of good size by Samson of Paris dating from around 1890. The bowl is hand painted and gilded and enamelled with arabesques incorporating baccant masks and fruit, with a botanical study of a rose hand painted to the interior. The bowl is in perfect condition with no damage or restoration and measures 38 cms in diameter.
