large and impressive carved oak 'green man' hall stand.
the profusely carved and arched top section with central large green man mask, carved female busts and six turned hanging pegs, the bevel edged mirror flanked by lidded storage compartments, the base with wonderful turned and carved column supports, central drawer with green man mask handle and fall front cupboard below, again with green man mask, flanked by fantastic carved female figures.
with normal signs of age and use, this wonderful hall stand really is an outstanding and handsome piece which is definitely not done justice by the photographs.
