Very large impressive antique French style burr walnut & Kingwood console table of exceptional quality. It’s just been French polished, so is in excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1930’s period. This table is such good quality that it’s finished on the back just as nice as the front & sides. The wood is a combination of burr walnut panels, kingwood borders & solid mahogany or walnut legs. The strong turned legs are fluted & have lower platforms between the two outside legs. There are also two drawers with locks. It has gilt bronze mounts & trimmings. Please study & enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine details. This table looks like it should belong in a Versailles palace.
