A fine and well proportioned antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1870.
Frame retaining its original mercury silvered mirror plate with attractive overall foxing, very atmospheric.
Frame water-gilded to the very highest of standards using 23.5 carat genuine gold leaf.
Complete with backing boards and ebonised plinth rail.
Sizes 133.5 cm tall, 131 cm wide at base, 110 cm main frame width.
