An elegant antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1870.
A well proportioned example, all water-gilded with genuine gold leaf.
Original mercury silvered mirror plate with heavy overall foxing and many fine, cleaning related surface scratches, ( plate can be replaced at cost before delivery if required).
Original backing board and ebonised plinth rail.
Sizes 155cm wide at base. 108 cm tall. 144 cm main frame width.
