A fine and well proportioned antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1878.
Frame water-gilded to the very highest of standards using 23.5 carat genuine gold leaf.
Original mirror plate with overall foxing, plate is date stamped on rear " London 1878".
Original backing boards and ebonised plinth rail.
Sizes 129.5 cm tall, 122 cm max width at base, 106.5 cm main frame width.
