Large Antique Mahogany Leather Top Desk
A large and very impressive antique mahogany pedestal desk in the Georgian style. This was made in England & I would date it from around the 1930’s period.
This is of super quality and is a great size. The inset leather top has been revived, hand coloured and gold tooled. The pedestals sit on plinth bases and have casters underneath which look like they may have been added later. The back is nicely polished so this can be used as a free standing item, the drawers have nice dovetailed joints and original brass handles. All the drawers have locks & there is a double filing drawer on the right side.
We have just had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. The top comes off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.

Knee height – 24 inches , 61 cm
