Large Burr Walnut Console Table
An imposing burr walnut console , or serving table, of generous proportions. Of very good construction in solid walnut with lovely burr walnut veneers. The serpentine, demi-lune shaped top is decorated with herring bone inlay and is finished with a carved gilt edge. The shaped freeze contains a single central fitted long drawer, with its original brass drop handles. The whole table stands on strong, elegant , cabriole legs with applied gilt detailing. This stylish and impressive table would look good in a variety of room settings, ie dining room, hall, living room. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition.
