Large Combination Carriage Clock (France, c. 1890)
A large gilt brass carriage antique clock with thermometer,compass and visible escapement dating to the late 19th Century. It has a shaped and reeded handle, and a silvered thermometer and compass set into the top. The two piece dial has a silvered chapter ring and an exposed lever balance. It has a French 8 day movement wound and set from the rear .
Current Condition

12.50cm wide 21.00cm high 9.00cm deep (4.92 inches wide 8.27 inches high 3.54 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
