An elegant large antique Edwardian oval gilt wall mirror, in nicely aged gilt frame dating from circa 1905. With bevelled mirror, the frame with moulded grape and vine leaf motifs to the inside and egg and dart moulding to the perimeter. In water gilt and gesso frame with good age and wear with the clay/gesso showing through in lots of places. A good size, could be used as a bedroom or hall mirror or as an over mantle mirror above a fireplace. Complete with brass hanging chain.
