Large Edwardian Walnut & Marble Dressing Table

A lovely antique cheval dressing table. We date this dressing table to the very early 20th century.
The dressing table consists of a large central oval mirror flanked by a low cabinet at each side that sits on downward tapered feet with decorative brass mounts and cups to the front and square section feet to the rear.
The mirror has attractive rope style brass mounts around the bottom half of the mirror frame and at the top.
The cabinets to each side have a serpentine shaped front with lovely grey, brown and white marble tops. The cupboard doors are fitted with locks (key is supplied). Internally there are mid-height removable shelves.
The dressing table has an overall height of 75" (191cm), a width of 62" (158cm), a base depth of 16.5" (42cm), table top height of 23” (59cm) and has a width of 24” (61cm) between the cabinets.
This lovely cheval dressing table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some very minor wear from past use including some slight mellowing to the top of the cabinets and minor foxing to the mirror.
This remains a very stylish and elegant cheval dressing table which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
