Magnificent 10ft when fully extended, oak dining table, made by world renown firm of cabinet makers Warings , established in Liverpool in 1835 by 'John Waring' . A firm of high repute that was well known for furnishing hotels and public buildings throughout Europe in the 19th and early 20th century.
This magnificent table made from all solid oak timbers stamped Warings with a crown cipher to one of the bearers , complete with 3 oak leaves and its original winding mechanism and handle, patented by 'Joseph Fitter' of Birmingham . A truly stunning table of large size in lovely condition which was made in an era of high class cabinet making by a company that was at the top of their game.
