Large French Leather and Brass Bound Trunk

This is a lovely 19th Century travel trunk, it was probably owned by a gentleman as it has a masculine look

The trunk is covered in tooled hide, it has iron bound edges and has brass studded decoration on the top and front, on the sides there are brass carrying handles and on the front an attractive brass clasp
The interior is clean and lined with its original carpet This is an old piece with a pleasant used look, it is in in good condition no worm or any other defects
The box measures 35’’ wide x 17” deep and stands 17’’ high
