Large Green Leather Chesterfield Armchair

An attractive chesterfield armchair. We date this chair to the late 20th century.
The chair sits on four castors.
The armrests continue up from the base and have been overstuffed to form the classic scroll arm shape with studded detail.
The armrests continue back to meet the backrest. The backrest has a slight curve and is buttoned and the seat base has a loose seat cushion.
The chair is upholstered in green leather.
The chair is very comfortable to sit on, with the backrest being shaped to provide good support for the lower back.
The chair has an overall height of 34.5" (88cm), an overall width of 32.5" (83cm), an overall depth of 37.5" (95cm), a backrest height of 21.5" (55m), a seat height of 15.5" (40cm), a seat width of 19" (48cm) and a seat depth of 21" (53cm).
The chair remains in a very good usable condition with minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage including some minor wear to some edges primarily on the armrests, seat pad and back of the backrest. There is a small scratch to the outer rear as can be seen in the pictures.
This remains a very stylish and elegant armchair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
