Fine quality mid 19th.c. mahogany full length cheval or dressing mirror on stand c.1840. Original arch top 26″ x 51″ mirror plate in a moulded frame with crisp carved detail at the top. Angle adjustable on a superb solid mahogany frame with twist column supports and stretcher, and topped with tall turned finials. Sleigh feet with scrolling papyrus leaf detail, raised on the original large brass castors. Some light tarnish to the mirror (which could be easily replaced), otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
