Large Minton Cheese Dish & Cover
Circa 1860. A stylish large scale Minton cheese dish. And cover, the top in the form of a conical beehive in faux straw and vine leaves entwined, with a brown painted lifting handle. The inside of the dome is painted turquoise, resting on a large circular base with blue painted center, ribbing and foliate beading beneath, on the rim. The outside of the base is painted brown.
