Circa 1870, large oak framed captains chair in red deep buttoned leather. With horseshoe shaped top rail, recently reupholstered in red deep buttoned leather and held in place by brass studding, above carved foliate uprights. A serpentine front seat leads on to outswept back legs and the front turned legs taper down to brass and porcelain castors.
