Large early 20th.c. oak pedestal desk c.1930. 63″ x 37″ top with a thumb moulded edge over three drawers. Raised on twin cupboard pedestals with left and right hand opening doors either side of a good sized kneehole (height 25″). Fitted inside with vertical dividers to the left hand pedestal and three drawers to the right. Carved and moulded door and drawer fronts with brass escutcheons and hinges, repeated as dummy fronts on the rear of the desk. Carved detail to the stiles, oak side panels with moulded surrounds, shaped apron and scroll carved feet to each side. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
