Large, heavy (almost 2 kg) pewter/white metal plate, c 1890. Most likely a ceremonial/presentation piece it refers to the Scottish City of Inverness and is nicely decorated with their coat of arms.This includes a central crucifix flanked by an Elephant and a Camel with the Latin inscription"Concordia Et Fidelitas". Overall condition is good with minor wear/rubbing and a very small distortion to part of the rim.Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
