This is a very handsome Queen Anne Period studded leather trunk that dates from around 1710. The chest is adorned with extensive brass studding in a most attractive design with pierced brass corner plates to the base. The solid brass handles to each end are the originals and are in good working condition.
The chest is a grand size with great impact and measures 62 cms high 96 cms wide by 48 cms in depth.
