Large Ruskin Matt Crystalline Glaze vase 12 1/4"

1932 Large Ruskin Matt crystalline glaze vase 12 ¼”
What A whopper and a stunning work of art. It said that a sign of good design is that it stands the test of time and indeed this looks very contemporary considering it was made in 1932! Just shows how Art Deco and modernist design are intertwined.
Matt crystalline glaze in strong cobalt blue, orange and sage green with a splash of white colouring.
Impressed mark to the base: Ruskin, England, 1932
Origin : Smethwick, Staffordshire
Weight : 2890 grams
Size : 12 1/4” tall x approx. 8" at widest
Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks or restoration. Three small white marks to the base look like possible support marks from the kiln.
Free Shipping to UK Address Come and see before you buy. We do not arrange furniture shipment, but are happy to fit in with arrangements you wish to make.
We do ship smaller items. Shipping costs on request
